Usage and Maintenance
First time use
Open the packaging, wash with warm water and use directly. The product has undergone high temperture dehumidification and sterilization before leaving the factory. Please do not use boiling water for re-sterilization or sunlight exposure, as this may damage or crack the product.
Routine Maintenance
Clean with mild soap, warm water, and a soft sponge or cloth. Dry the board with a towel immediately. When the product surface becomes rough, clean and dry it first, then rub with vegetable oil thoroughly.
This can effectively extend the product's lifespan. To eliminate fish smell, sprinkle a small amount of salt on the surface, cut a lemon in half, rub with salt evenly and air dry afterwards.
Oil Regularly: Apply food-grade mineral oil or specialized cutting board oil to keep the wood hydrated and prevent it from drying out or cracking.
Precautions
Avoid long exposure to humid environment or soaking in water. After cleaning, promptly dry with a cloth.
Avoid direct sunlight or high-temperature baking, as this may cause the wood to crack.
Handcrafted product may exhibit variations in details, which do not constitute quality issues for the product.
Natural characteristic of wood
Due to the natural growth characteristics of wood, mineral lines, tree scars, and pores on cutting boards are natural.
All products may experience slight discoloration during initial use; this is normal due to the loss of natural pigments in the wood fibers. It do not consider as quality problems.
